CHEF International has established and materialized the concept of Community vision centers in Pakistan as primary level eye care centers, to provide preliminary eye health care services and referrals of patients to the secondary and tertiary level eye care facilities. CVCs have been established in collaboration within the communities with active participation of qualified and trained local human resource. The concept has also been endorsed by National Committee on Eye Health.
